UPSC cutoff marks 2024 is expected to be released after the final declaration of result in 2025. Candidates who secure equal to more than the cutoff marks will qualify for the next stage of UPSC exam.
The UPSC cutoff marks 2024 will vary according to the category under which a candidate applies. Other factors such as number of vacancies, number of applicants etc also determine the cutoff.

UPSC cutoff is the minimum marks a candidate has to secure in order to qualify for the next stage of the UPSC exam. The cutoff marks are applicable for prelims, mains as well as final list.
In prelims, the cutoff marks for General Studies paper varies each year depending on various factors that you can read in the next part. The cutoff marks for CSAT paper is fixed at 33% (66.67). In mains, the cutoff marks is determined by considering only Essay, GS and Optional papers. The language papers are only for qualifying. Candidates who secure the cutoff marks out of 1750 marks will progress to the interview stage.
In the interview stage, there are no separate cutoff marks. Instead, the marks secured here are added to the mains marks and if this combined total exceeds the final cutoff marks, the candidate is said to have qualified the UPSC exam.
