The IAS interview is the final stage of the civil services examination. To be invited for the IAS interview, a candidate must score the minimum marks in the written part of the main examination, which is 1750. The total marks allotted to the UPSC INTERVIEW 2023 are 275 marks. The interview is used to determine if a candidate is qualified for a career in public service. There is no minimum score to qualify for the UPSC INTERVIEW 2023. The percentage of points awarded for the interview often ranges from 40% to 80%.
According to the UPSC Exam Pattern, the exam is conducted in three stages.
According to UPSC trend analysis, until 2012, Candidates were evaluated in interviews with a maximum mark allocation of 300, resulting in individual scores ranging from 90 to 245. The average interview scores ranged between 30 percent and 80 percent.
