Nagarjuna Gowda, an IAS officer, originates from a modest village in Karnataka. Despite facing financial constraints, he never allowed them to obstruct his path towards his ambitions. Attending a local community school, Nagarjuna Gowda’s relentless efforts paved the way for his success.
The success stories of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers often serve as a source of hope and motivation. One such inspiring tale is that of Nagarjuna B Gowda, who overcame challenges to conquer the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) IAS exam and even found love in the process.
Nagarjuna Gowda’s journey from a humble background in a Karnataka village to UPSC success was defined by determination and hard work. Despite financial constraints, he pursued his education and exhibited resilience. After gaining entry into the MBBS program, he balanced medical studies with UPSC preparation, showcasing dedication.
While working as a resident in a hospital, Nagarjuna Gowda embarked on his preparation journey for the UPSC IAS examination. Balancing his medical responsibilities with rigorous exam preparation, he emerged victorious in the UPSC examination.
Nagarjuna’s strategy for government job preparation centered on previous question papers, mock tests, and selective study materials. This approach led to an impressive 418th rank in the 2018 UPSC exam, reflecting his tenacity. However, his triumph extended beyond professional achievement.
During training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, he met Srushti Jayant Deshmukh, a fellow IAS aspirant who ranked 5th in the UPSC exam. Their shared dedication to public service and mutual respect evolved into love. They married in 2022, with Srushti’s accomplishments complementing Nagarjuna’s journey.
With an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 418 in the 2018 UPSC examination, Nagarjuna Gowda now serves as an IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. His journey took an extraordinary turn when he crossed paths with IAS Srushti Deshmukh, a fellow IAS officer. Srushti Deshmukh secured her place as a 2019 batch IAS officer and is currently serving as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Gadarwara, located in Madhya Pradesh’s Narsinghpur district. Their paths crossed during their training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy Of Administration (LBSNAA) in Uttarakhand, where their shared experiences led to a deep connection and blossoming romance.
