The IAS salary structure is based on two criteria: their service grade and years of experience. Based on these two criteria, the pay commission decides their salary. Apart from basic pay, IAS salary also consists of Dearness Allowances, House Rent Allowances, Travel Allowances etc. All these together form the IAS salary structure.
The per month IAS salary consists of basic pay and other allowances. Together, they form the monthly IAS salary. The breakdown of salary is as below.
