UPPSC Mains 2023 Results: Success Highlights and Interview Call for 451 Candidates

• Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission had conducted the Mains examination for 254 posts between 26th to 29th November in two cities of Prayagraj and Lucknow. It was pasted on the Commission office’s notice board on Friday.
• About 451 candidates have been successful in the main examination of PCS. 3658 candidates appeared in the mains examination. Now successful candidates will be called for an interview. 

UPPSC 2023: Milestones, Results, and Potential Record-Breaking Selection Process

• UPPSC had released the advertisement of PCS-2023 on March 2, 2023. 
• UPPSC preliminary examination of PSS 2023 was held on 14 May. 
  • Out of 565459 candidates, 345022 candidates appeared in the pre-examination. 
  • The result of the preliminary examination was released on 26 June.
• The main examination was conducted from 26 to 29 September in the centers of Lucknow and Prayagraj.
  • 3658 candidates appeared in the mains examination. 
• Now against 150 vacancies, 451 candidates have been called for an interview. 
  • A total of 3658 candidates appeared in this examination. 
  • Out of the total 254 vacancies available for 20 types of posts, there are 104 vacancies for 6 types of posts on which selection is to be done only on the basis of written examination.  
• The Commission has set a target to complete the nine-month examination process. 
  • According to this, if the result is released in nine months, the final selection result will come before 14th February.
  • If this happens, the Commission will create a new record in releasing the results of the PCS examination.

UPPSC PCS Interview 2023: Qualification, Evaluation Criteria, and Upcoming Dates

• A total of 454 candidates have qualified for the UPPSC PCS 2023 Interview round. The interview will be held for 100 marks for the candidates who have qualified for UPPSC PCS Mains Result 2023. 
• The panel will check a candidate’s overall knowledge, communication skills and personality in this round. 
• The UPPSC Interview will also have questions from General Knowledge and current affairs. The commission will announce the UPPSC PCS Interview dates soon. 

UPPSC Merit List 2023: Online Release, Final Result Criteria, and Appointment Details

• The commission will release the UPPSC PCS Mains Result 2023 as a merit list online. 
• The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will release the UPPSC PCS Final Result 2023 after the interview round is over for the candidates. 
• The UP PCS final merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in the UP PSC Main exam and interview round. 
• Candidates whose name or roll number is mentioned in the UPPSC PCS Final Result 2023 will be appointed for the vacancies announced by the commission.
