UPSC Mains Exam Date 2024 is scheduled to be held across 24 centres in India from September 20, 2024. Around 14,627 candidates have passed the UPSC Prelims exam and will be eligible to appear for UPSC Mains 2024. Aspirants must keep in mind the UPSC Mains Exam Date so that they can prepare in advance for the mains rather than starting after the declaration of prelims results. This will increase their chances of scoring high marks in the Mains exam.

UPSC Mains Exam will be descriptive in nature, consisting of nine papers. UPSC has not yet released the exact timetable for the UPSC mains exam. UPSC Mains Exam 2025 timetable has already been released by the commission. The mains exam 2025 will be held from August 22 onwards, which is a month earlier than usual time. This means that candidates have to prepare for Mains in advance, as there is very little gap between prelims and mains exams.
