Every year, the UPSC holds three parts of the Civil Services Examination (CSE): preliminary, mains, and interview. To succeed on this fiercely competitive exam, one must prepare thoroughly and pass all the three phases.
UPSC Mains exam is a subjective test of a total of nine papers, including four General Studies papers, two optional papers, two language papers, and an essay paper. Those who pass the UPSC Mains exam can proceed to the UPSC interview, which is the last round.
