border-style: solid; border-color: #000000;\"><b>SSLV<\/b><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 78.5078%; border-style: solid; border-color: #000000;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Launch: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On August 16, ISRO launched the third and final development flight of the SSLV.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Successful Completion: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It placed the EOS-08 and the SR-0 Demosat satellites in orbit.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With two consecutively successful test flights, ISRO declared the SSLV\u2019s development complete and green-lit its transfer to industry.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>EOS-08 carried three payloads:\u00a0<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earth observation in the infrared range<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To demonstrate the use of reflections from a global satellite navigation system for earth observation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ultraviolet dosimeter and alarm to be tested ahead of their use in the Gaganyaan crew module.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 21.9903%; border-style: solid; border-color: #000000;\"><b>Next-Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV)<\/b><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 78.5078%; border-style: solid; border-color: #000000;\">\n<ul>\n<li><b>Lunch:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Project report submitted in February 2024<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Use of:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ISRO has planned for NGLV to be<\/span><b> a three-stage launch vehicle <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">powered by a <\/span><b>semi-cryogenic engine, a liquid engine, and a cryogenic engine.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ISRO doesn\u2019t plan to continue the <\/span><b>use of the GSLV once the NGLV is ready.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PSLV is already under production by a private consortium.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>PSLV is a four-stage vehicle with alternate solid and liquid stages.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ISRO is working on developing the semi-cryogenic engine for the LVM-3 rocket \u2014 another name for the GSLV Mk III \u2014 to enhance its launch capability.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On May 2 and 21, it successfully tested the engine\u2019s pre-burner ignition test article in important milestones.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>GSLV Mk III<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a three stage vehicle with two solid motor strap-ons, one liquid propellant core stage and a cryogenic upper stage.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 21.9903%; border-style: solid; border-color: #000000;\"><b>NSIL Missions<\/b><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 78.5078%; border-style: solid; border-color: #000000;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>On May 1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ISRO transferred all commercial activities related to<\/span><b> Indian Remote Sensing satellite data and products to the NSIL.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The NSIL signed<\/span><b> an agreement with SpaceX <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to launch the GSAT-20\/GSAT-N2 satellite.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SpaceX is expected to launch it in<\/span><b> August 2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Cape Canaveral, Florida.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On May 10, the NSIL also released a request for qualification for the production of LVM-3 through a <\/span><b>public-private partnership<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span><b> signed a dedicated launch service agreement with an Australian private space company to launch the SSLV.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 21.9903%;
