  • It is a single-stranded, enclosed, negative-sense RNAvirus.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • It belongs to the<\/span> family Paramyxoviridae<\/b>, genus <\/span>Henipavirus.<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Spread:\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n

    • It is a <\/span>zoonotic virus,<\/b>\u00a0 transmitted from animals to humans.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Reservoir: <\/b>The fruit bat, also known as the flying fox, serves as the animal host reservoir for the virus.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Indian flying fox (Pteropus giganteus)<\/b> is generally considered a vermin as they raid orchards.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Fruit bats transmit the virus to other animals such as pigs, dogs, cats, goats, horses, and sheep.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Humans can get infected through direct contact<\/b> with these infected animals or by consuming food contaminated with their saliva or urine.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Fatality Rate:<\/b> WHO estimates that between 40% and 75% of cases can result in death.<\/span><\/li>\n

Dabba Calling<\/b> is a method of making extortion calls that involves using two phones to circumvent detection and tracking by authorities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How Dabba Calling Works ?<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Initial Call<\/b>: The henchman makes an extortion call to the intended victim using one phone. This call is made over the Internet, often using Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) services.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Simultaneous Call<\/b>: Using a second phone, the henchman makes another call to his boss, who is typically located in a different country. The two phones are kept side-by-side, and their speakers are turned on.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Dual Communication<\/b>: This method allows the boss to issue threats or demands without directly interacting with the victim’s phone.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
