The number 55 symbolizes the target of reducing GHG at least 55% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">This package includes legal tools to implement this goal in the fields of climate, energy, land use, traffic and taxes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is part of the EU\u2019s <\/span><b>\u201cFit for 55 in 2030 package\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aims<\/span><b> to achieve the target of a 55% reduction <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030, less stringent climate policies.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Incentivizes Climate Action:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:
