aria-level=\"1\"><b>Rights of Ownership:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Scheduled Tribes (ST) and <\/span><b>other traditional forest dwellers (OTFD)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have the right to ownership, access, collection, use, and disposal of minor forest produce traditionally collected within or outside village boundaries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Eligibility for Forest Rights:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Any individual or community can claim forest rights if they have resided primarily on forest land for <\/span><b>at least three generations (75 years) prior to December 13, 2005<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, for bona fide livelihood needs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Role of Gram Sabha: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Gram Sabha<\/span><b> initiates the process to determine the nature and extent of Individual Forest Rights (IFR)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Community Forest Rights (CFR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) for<\/span><b> FDST (Forest-Dwelling Scheduled Tribes) and OTFD.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Nodal Agency: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is the nodal agency for the implementation of the Forest Rights Act, 2006.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Types of Rights Recognized Under FRA 2006<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Land Rights: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forest dwellers are granted ownership of land they cultivate, <\/span><b>subject to a maximum of 4 hectares per family.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ownership is<\/span><b> only for land currently cultivated;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> no new land can be granted.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The land cannot be sold or transferred, except through inheritance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Use Rights: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Includes rights to extract Minor Forest Produce (e.g., bamboo, tendu leaves, herbs, medicinal plants).<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rights extend to grazing areas and pastoralist routes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Timber is not included as minor forest produce.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Relief and Development Rights:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides rights to rehabilitation in cases of illegal eviction or displacement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensures
