Bush.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its aim is to facilitate civil nuclear cooperation between the two countries, overcoming previous restrictions on nuclear trade with India due to its non-signatory status to the <\/span><b>Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The agreement<\/span><b> allows US companies to supply nuclear fuel and technology for India\u2019s civilian nuclear energy program.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">India committed to <\/span><b>permitting inspections<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the<\/span><b> International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for its civilian nuclear program.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Benefits of deal for India:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The agreement ended the technology denial regimes against India that had been in place for over three decades, effectively ending India\u2019s nuclear isolation.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><b>made India eligible to purchase US dual-use nuclear technology,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> including<\/span><b> materials and equipment for uranium enrichment and plutonium reprocessing.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><b>Significance of Removal from Restricted list<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It highlights the progress in <\/span><b>India-U.S. strategic ties <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and shared commitments to peaceful nuclear cooperation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aims to strengthe<\/span><b>n clean energy supply chains <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and advance resilient civil nuclear partnerships.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"vc_table_green\"><\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 99.6375%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 111.19%;
