state&#8217;s textile industry.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>More on the Textile Park<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PM MITRA Park in Madhya Pradesh will <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">span an <\/span><b>area of\u00a0 2,100 acres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and is expected to attract massive investments and generate significant employment opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The<\/span> <b>project site in Dhar district<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is\u00a0 strategically near Indore,<\/span><b> Pithampur industrial cluster,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><b>Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will include advanced infrastructure like a<\/span><b> 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">plant, a<\/span><b> solar-powered energy facility<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>plug-and-play units.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>About PM MITRA 400;\">enhance the competitiveness of the Indian textile industry.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>About PM MITRA Textile Park Project<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PM MITRA Parks will establish <\/span><b>integrated textile value chains at a single location<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, covering all processes from spinning to garment manufacturing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MITRA parks can be either<\/span><b> Greenfield or Brownfield.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Components:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Each park will feature core infrastructure like an <\/span><b>incubation center, developed factory sites, roads, power, water systems, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>common processing facilities.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parks will also include<\/span><b> worker residential complexes <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>offer green energy solutions like solar power units<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Approved Parks: Seven PM MITRA Textile Parks <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have been approved in Bhainsola, <\/span><b>Dhar (Madhya Pradesh)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Virudhunagar (Tamil Nadu)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Amravati (Maharashtra),<\/b> <b>Navsari (Gujarat)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Lucknow-Hardoi region (Uttar Pradesh)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><b> Warangal (Telangana)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Kalaburagi (Karnataka)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Execution<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: A<\/span><b> Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> jointly owned by the<\/span><b> Centre and State Governments <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will <\/span><b>oversee project execution.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SPV is a <\/span><b>separate legal entity created by a company, government, or group of investors<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to <\/span><b>isolate financial risk or manage a specific project.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>It has its own assets, liabilities, and legal status, and is often used for large projects like infrastructure development, asset securitization, or investment Textiles will offer Development Capital Support (DCS) of <\/span><b>up to \u20b9800 crore for Greenfield parks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and up to <\/span><b>\u20b9500 crore for Brownfield parks.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A<\/span><b> Competitive Incentive Support (CIS)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of up to <\/span><b>\u20b9300 crore per park<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will promote early operationalization and scaling up.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Commercial Development (CD)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on <\/span><b>up to 10% of park areas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be allowed to support financial viability and asset maintenance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Significance:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MITRA Parks will reduce <\/span><b>production costs, speed up manufacturing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and position textile and apparel sector contributes<\/span><b> 2.3% to India&#8217;s GDP, 13% to industrial production<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>12% to the country&#8217;s total exports.<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Export Performance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: India exported textile goods worth <\/span><b>US$ 34.4 billion in 2023\u201324<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with apparel accounting for 42%, raw\/semi-finished materials 34%, and non-apparel finished goods 30%.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Employment Generation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The industry directly <\/span><b>employs over 45 million people<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including a significant number of women and rural workers, making it the second-largest employer after agriculture.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Alignment with Government Initiatives:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The sector supports <\/span><b>Make in India, Skill India, Women&#8217;s Empowerment, Rural Youth Employment,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and promotes inclusive growth through<\/span><b>
