maintenance, and management of NH-06<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as a<\/span><b> 4-lane access-controlled Greenfield corridor <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to improve <\/span><b>connectivity in Northeast India.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Project Stretch<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The corridor spans from<\/span><b> Mawlyngkhung (near Shillong) in Meghalaya<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to<\/span><b> Panchgram (near Silchar) in Assam, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">covering <\/span><b>144.80 km in Meghalaya<\/b><span through coal and cement producing regions and enabling smoother logistics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tourism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Connectivity to airports in Guwahati, Shillong, and Silchar will enhance tourism by linking scenic destinations in the Northeast to major cities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Employment Generation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The construction phase is expected<\/span><b> to generate 74 lakh man-days (direct) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and<\/span><b> 93 lakh man-days (indirect),<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> supporting local employment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span><b> BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) models to overcome challenges of these models.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Risk Sharing Mechanism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The <\/span><b>government bears 40% of the project cost during the construction phase, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reducing the financial burden on private developers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Annuity-Based Payment: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The remaining <\/span><b>60% is paid to
