Financial Documentation for Applicants<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>NGOs and associations seeking FCRA registration or renewal must now submit audited financial statements and reports for the past Certification:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If the financial statements do not include <\/span><b>activity-wise expenditure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a <\/span><b>certificate from a Chartered Accountant<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> must be submitted.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This certificate must specify <\/span><b>activity-wise amount spent<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, reconciled with the income and expenditure and receipts and payments accounts.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Activity Report:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Applicants must submit <\/span><b>year-wise activity reports for the last three years<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Capital Investment Disclosure: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If expenditure on the NGO\u2019s aims and objectives is <\/span><b>less than \u20b915 lakh<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the past three years, an affidavit must be submitted clarifying the inclusion of <\/span><b>capital investments<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the expenditure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Affidavit for Previously Registered NGOs:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> NGOs that were previously registered under the FCRA and whose certificate has expired or been cancelled must submit an affidavit detailing <\/span><b>receipt and utilisation of foreign contributions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> during the non-registration period.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Adherence to FATF Guidelines:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> All applicants must provide an <\/span><b>undertaking to adhere to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Good Practice Guidelines<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as part of the registration or renewal process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Restrictions on NGOs<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ban on Publishing News Content:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> NGOs that receive foreign funds and are involved in <\/span><b>publication-related activities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are <\/span><b>barred from publishing news content<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They must submit a certificate from the <\/span><b>Registrar of Newspapers for
