  • आईआईटी के पूर्व छात्र बाबा अभय सिंह, जिन्हें ‘आईआईटी बाबा’ के नाम से जाना जाता है, ने महाकुंभ मेले में मीडिया का ध्यान आकर्षित किया | परिणामस्वरूप उनके निजी जीवन पर    हास्यास्पद तरीके से व्यंग्य करते हुए वायरल वीडियो भी सामने आए हैं, जो समाज की गलत प्राथमिकताओं को उजागर करता है।
  • लोगों के व्यक्तिगत निजी मामलों पर ध्यान देने के बजाय, भारत के भार्गवस्त्र ड्रोन (Bhargavastra drones) जैसी उपलब्धियों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाना चाहिए, जो स्वार्म ड्रोन (swarm drones) का मुकाबला करने के लिए पहली स्वदेशी माइक्रो-मिसाइल प्रणाली है, जिसे कम प्रचारित किया जाता है।
  • जबकि चीन जैसे देश उभरती प्रौद्योगिकियों में अग्रणी हैं, भारत का मीडिया सामान्यतः अनुपयोगी, पारंपरिक विषयों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करता है। वैज्ञानिक और उद्यमशीलता की सफलताओं को उजागर करना प्रगति को आगे बढ़ाने में सहायता कर सकता है तथा राष्ट्रीय विकास को बढ़ावा दे सकता है।
