एडिटोरियल एनालिसिस

  • मैथ्यू प्रभाव उस घटना को संदर्भित करता है जहां ऐसे व्यक्तियों का प्रभाव होता है,  जिनके पास पहले से ही अनेक महत्त्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियां हैं, जैसे अनेक क्षेत्रों में उनकी प्रसिद्धि या स्थिति, उन्हें दूसरों की तुलना में अधिक अवसर और मान्यता प्रदान करती है।
  • उदाहरण के लिए, शैक्षणिक संदर्भ में, इसका मतलब यह है कि व्यक्ति A जैसे प्रमुख विद्वानों को मान्यता और समर्थन मिलने की अधिक संभावना है, भले ही उनका काम व्यक्ति B जैसे कम प्रसिद्ध विद्वानों के काम के समान ही क्यों न हो।
  • सफलता अनिवार्यतः आगे और अधिक सफलता को जन्म देती है, जिससे लाभान्वित और वंचितों के बीच की खाई बढ़ती जाती है।
