UPSC 2025 Vacancy: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services Examination (CSE)  notification, and the UPSC 2025 Vacancy details on the official website. The vacancies determine the number of candidates who will eventually be selected for various prestigious services, including the IAS, IPS, IFS, and other Central Services. Understanding the vacancy details, along with the eligibility criteria, age limit, and reservation policies, is crucial for every aspirant.

UPSC Vacancies 2025 Notification

The UPSC vacancies 2025 has been announced in the official UPSC notification, on January 22, 2025. The UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 seeks to fill approximately 979 vacancies, including 38 vacancies reserved for candidates under the Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Category. These include 12 vacancies for candidates with blindness and low vision, 7 vacancies for those with deafness and hard of hearing, 10 vacancies for individuals with locomotor disabilities (including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy), and 9 vacancies for candidates with multiple disabilities, including deaf-blindness.

However, the final number of vacancies is subject to revision based on updates from the Cadre Controlling Authorities. Additionally, reservations are available for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and PwBD categories, ensuring inclusive representation across diverse groups.
