UPSC IFS Cutoff 2024 is the minimum marks a candidate has to score to be eligible to qualify for the next stage of the examination. The cutoff marks has been released by the UPSC after the final results that were announced on 19th May 2025.

These cut-offs vary across different categories, including General, EWS (Economically Weaker Section), OBC, SC, ST, and the three categories under Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD-1, PwBD-2, PwBD-3). Key highlights of the IFS 2024 cut-off marks:
Final Cut-off (out of 1700): The highest qualifying score was for the General category (898 marks), followed by EWS (857) and OBC (848).
PwBD categories saw significantly lower cut-offs, reflecting accommodations made for inclusivity.
Main Exam Cut-off was based on 1400 marks and required candidates to score at least 5% in each paper.
Prelims Cut-off was based solely on the General Studies Paper-I, with Paper-II being qualifying in nature.

Candidates scoring equal to or above these marks in Paper-I and having qualified Paper-II were shortlisted for the IFS Mains Examination.
The IFS Mains 2024 cut-off marks were determined out of a total of 1400 marks. These marks include scores from all written papers of the Mains examination. Additionally, to be considered for evaluation, candidates were required to secure a minimum of 5% in each paper, as per UPSC’s qualifying criteria.
