Contributions to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund

The Armed Forces Flag Day Fund supports battle casualties, war widows, dependents, and ex-servicemen, including disabled veterans. On 7 December 2025, donations are collected from the general public to aid their welfare and rehabilitation. An appeal from the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, requests people to contribute in solidarity with soldiers and their families.​

For Armed Forces Flag Day 2025, all Central Government officials and staff are requested, through an advisory, to voluntarily donate at least Rs. 300 from their salary for November 2025. This amount should reach the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund by 2 December 2025 so that it is available before Flag Day. 

Contributions may be sent by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, or RTGS to the bank accounts mentioned in the annexure of the notice.​
