The UPSC Apply Online 2026 process has started on 4 February 2026 and will remain open till 24 February 2026 on the official website upsconline.nic.in.

• UPSC also provides a correction window for the aspirants to make corrections and changes to their application form after the last date of registration ends. The window will remain open for 7-8 days, and the dates will be announced later.
• Candidates who qualify the UPSC Prelims Exam are required to fill out the DAF-1 (Detailed Application Form) before the Mains Exam. Candidates will be filling in their personal information, subject-related questions, and other details.
  
• There is also a UPSC DAF-2 to be filled in by candidates who clear the Mains Exam. In this form, candidates provide all details regarding their interests, educational background, professional life, and hobbies. The UPSC Interview board uses this form to ask questions during the Personality Test.
