Longhorn Crazy Ants	Paratrechina longicornis	Known for advanced collective coordination. Clear obstacles in anticipation of a load’s movement path.
Leaf Cutter Ants	Atta and Acromyrmex	Practice fungus farming using leaf matter. Exhibit pest and disease control using body bacteria antibiotics.
Florida Carpenter Ants	Camponotus floridanus	Perform limb amputation and antimicrobial wound care to increase survival of injured members.
Army Ants	Eciton burchellii	Form living body bridges and scaffolds. Rebuild mobile nests daily around queen and larvae.
Weaver Ants	Oecophylla smaragdina	Use larval silk to stitch leaf nests; Self-assemble into ladders and chains for construction and movement.
Fire Ants	Solenopsis invicta	Form floating rafts with larvae to survive floods, Drifting for long distances until reaching dry ground.
