- The Empowered Programme Committee (EPC) has approved 7 startup proposals under the GREAT scheme.

- The Government of India (GOI) provides up to INR 50 lakhs in funding support for each startup for a period of 18 months.

- So far, 8 startup proposals have been approved.
- These startups focus on various technical textile sectors, including sustainability, composites, high-performance textiles, medical textiles (meditech), and smart textiles.
