Context: 

More than 57,000 migrant workers have registered for the One Nation, One Anganwadi programme.

• The programme allows individuals to receive government benefits for children under six years of age, as well as pregnant and lactating women, even if they relocate to another state.
• The Poshan Tracker app was utilized for this purpose.

About Poshan Tracker App:

• The app provides a view of the activities of the Anganwadi centres (child care centres), service deliveries of Anganwadi workers and complete beneficiary management for pregnant women, lactating mothers and children under six. 
• It also digitises and automates physical registers used by workers that helps improve the quality of their work. 
• A nodal person has also been appointed for providing technical support and resolving any issue about downloading the new Poshan Tracker application and its functioning in each State.

POSHAN Abhiyaan:

• Launched in: 2018
• Centrally Sponsored Scheme with the implementation of the scheme being done by States/UTs.
• Aim: 
  • To target the unique 1,000-day window of childbirth and pre- and post- delivery support to mothers to reduce malnutrition. 
  • To improve nutritional status of children (0-6 years), adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
  • To reduce anaemia among women and adolescent girls (15-49 years) and young children(6-59 months) and improve birth weight.
  • Prevent and reduce Stunting in children (0- 6 years)
  • Prevent and reduce under-nutrition (underweight prevalence) in children (0-6 years)
