About Sant Kabir Das

Kabir’s poems were composed in Sadhukkadi, also known as Panchmel Khichri, a mix of dialects like Khadi Boli, Braj, Bhojpuri, Marwari, and Awadhi.
Some of his works, like Mor Hīrā Herāïl Bā Kichaṛe Me(), were written in pure Bhojpuri.
Kabir wrote bhajans (devotional songs) and dohas (couplets) about human values, unity, and spirituality.
His writings were in Hindi, making them easy to understand.

He rejected rituals and emphasized inner faith and devotion.

Many of his verses were collected by Guru Arjan Dev and included in the Sikh scripture, Guru Granth Sahib. His verses are found in the Satguru Granth Sahib of Saint Garib Das,and Kabir Sagar of Dharamdas.
