On July 30th, Tuesday, she won a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Before this, Manu had also won a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event, breaking a 12-year drought for India in shooting at the Olympics.

At the age of 22, Manu Bhaker became an inspiration to youth by shooting down a century-old record on July 30th, Tuesday. She teamed up with Sarabjot Singh, 23, in the 10m air pistol category, They both won the bronze medal by beating the South Korean duo of Oh Yeh Jin and Lee Wonoho by 16-10. Before this, Manu had also won a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event.
