UPSC CDS Exam Date 2025: The UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam is a crucial gateway for candidates aspiring to join the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy. The UPSC conducts the CDS exam twice a year. UPSC is set to conduct the CDS 2 Exam Date on September 14, 2025. The notification of CDS 2 2025 notification will be released on May 28, 2025.

UPSC CDS Exam Date 2025 Schedule

The schedule for the CDS exams in 2025 is meticulously planned to accommodate a large number of candidates. The written examination includes subjects like English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics, each conducted over two hours. The results for the written exams are usually declared within a month of the exam date, followed by the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews for shortlisted candidates.

The application process for UPSC CDS 2 2025 commenced with the release of the official notification on May 28, 2025. Candidates are given until June 17, 2025, to complete their applications. An application fee of ₹200 for General/OBC/EWS male candidates is required.

However, SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from paying the fee varying based on the applicant’s category. This process ensured that all aspiring candidates had ample time to prepare their documents and submit their applications within the stipulated deadline.

The UPSC will release the official vacancy details for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam 2025. The total number of vacancies will be announced across various defence academies in the official notification.

UPSC CDS Admit Card 2025
