UPSC CDS Exam Date 2025: The UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam is a crucial gateway for candidates aspiring to join the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy. The UPSC conducts the CDS exam twice a year. UPSC is set to conduct the CDS 1 Exam Date on April 13, 2025. The notification of UPSC CDS 1 2025 has been released on December 11, 2024, and the CDS 2 2025 notification will be released on May 28, 2025.

UPSC CDS Exam Date 2025 Schedule

The schedule for the CDS exams in 2025 is meticulously planned to accommodate a large number of candidates. The written examination includes subjects like English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics, each conducted over two hours. The results for the written exams are usually declared within a month of the exam date, followed by the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews for shortlisted candidates.

The application process for UPSC CDS 1 2025 commenced with the release of the official notification on December 11, 2024. Candidates are given until December 31, 2024, to complete their applications. An application fee of ₹200 for General/OBC/EWS male candidates is required.

However, SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from paying the fee varying based on the applicant’s category. This process ensured that all aspiring candidates had ample time to prepare their documents and submit their applications within the stipulated deadline.

The UPSC has released the official vacancy details for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam 2025. A total of 457 vacancies have been announced across various defence academies. You can check the detailed academy-wise vacancy distribution in the table provided below:

UPSC CDS Admit Card 2025

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) examination 2025 on 3rd April on its official website 10 days before the exam.
