Candidates who clear the Prelims will appear for the UPSC ESE Mains Exam 2025, scheduled for August 10, 2025. The Mains consist of two descriptive-type papers, each worth 300 marks, focusing on the candidate’s engineering discipline.
The result for the UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2025 will be announced a few weeks after the exam. However, once the Mains exam is successfully conducted, the Mains Exam Result dates will be announced a few weeks later. Candidates qualifying for the Mains will proceed to the Personality Test/Interview. The UPSC Engineering Services Final Result date will be announced later. The final result is decided based on cumulative scores from all stages, will be released after the interview process.
