The final stage is the Personality Test, commonly known as the Interview. The UPSC Preliminary Examination is the first stage of the UPSC CSE and serves as a screening test. It consists of two papers: General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II (also known as CSAT). Both papers are objective type (multiple choice questions). UPSC Prelims Exam Date 2024 was 26 May 2024, but it was postponed due to Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, the exam was held on June 16, 2024.
