UPSC Mains Candidates Important Guidelines

Qualified candidates should carefully read the points below-

  • No extension is usually provided: The Commission generally does not extend the closing date for the DAF-I window, so it is wise to submit the form well before the deadline to avoid last-minute server congestion.
  • Check document validity carefully: Make sure your caste, income, or disability certificates are valid, up to date, and issued by the appropriate authority as required in the original 2026 exam notification.
  • Choose thoughtfully: Your selection of optional subject, exam medium, and centre location cannot be altered after final submission, so review every detail carefully before submitting the form.
