Shakti Dubey from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, secured All India Rank 1 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024. She studied Biochemistry at Allahabad University and later at Banaras Hindu University. After working as a teacher, she decided to prepare for UPSC and studied for seven years. She chose Political Science and International Relations as her optional subject. Her success shows that with hard work and patience, anyone can achieve their dream.
Securing the second position in UPSC 2025, Harshita Goyal is a Commerce graduate from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Despite her academic background in commerce, she opted for Political Science & International Relations as her optional subject. Her strategic selection and well-balanced preparation approach played a crucial role in her outstanding result.
She achieved 851 marks in the written examination and added 187 marks in the interview round, bringing her total score to 1038 and earning her the All India Rank 2.
Dongre Archit Parag, who earned a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from VIT, Tamil Nadu, clinched the third rank in UPSC 2025. He chose Philosophy as his optional subject. His blend of analytical engineering skills and philosophical depth gave him a distinctive edge in the examination. He scored 848 marks in the mains and 190 in the interview, totalling 1038 marks—tying closely with Harshita Goyal in terms of overall score.
Margi Chirag Shah completed her Computer Engineering degree from Gujarat Technological University in Ahmedabad. With Sociology as her chosen optional subject, she secured the fourth position in the UPSC 2025 examination. Her fusion of technical expertise and sociological insight greatly contributed to her success. She earned 825 marks in the written test and 210 in the interview, achieving a cumulative score of 1035 marks.
Aakash Garg, a Computer Science graduate from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, claimed the fifth rank. He selected Sociology as his optional subject. His ability to merge technological understanding with social awareness played a key role in his high performance.
He obtained 831 marks in the written portion and 201 marks in the interview, with a final tally of 1032 marks, placing him firmly in the top five of the UPSC 2025 results.
