World Food India 2025 is an important global event organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India. Shri Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries mentioned that the 4th edition of World Food India 2025 is set to be held from September 25 to 28, 2025.
He stated, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this event showcases our commitment to sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready food systems,”. This international gathering will highlight India’s expanding capabilities in the food processing sector, with a strong emphasis on value addition, innovation, and sustainable practices.
World Food India 2025 is a government-led initiative aimed at strengthening and transforming India’s food processing sector through global collaboration and innovation. This event was first launched in 2017 and has evolved over time. This year, participation in the World Food India 2025 is expected from over 90 countries, 2,000+ exhibitors, and tens of thousands of stakeholders.
This will act as a networking platform where global leaders and Indian entrepreneurs meet to explore opportunities across the food value chain. The event includes B2B meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and food tasting sessions.
The event emphasizes innovation, sustainability, and investment in the food processing industry in India. It also celebrates the richness of Indian food and agricultural diversity while inviting global partners to collaborate on scaling up operations.
World Food India 2025 is scheduled to take place from 25th to 28th September 2025. The event will bring together international delegates, investors, policymakers, and industry experts under one roof.
