The UPSC Prelims Result 2024 has been released on the official UPSC website on July 01, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the UPSC Prelims 2024 held on June 16, 2024, can now check their results. The results are available in both Roll number-wise and Name-wise PDF formats, allowing candidates to easily find their roll numbers and names. Candidates who have qualified Prelims will now appear for the UPSC Mains Examinations which are set to be held in September 2024. The UPSC Prelims Result 2024 has been released for the exam held on June 16, 2024. The UPSC Preliminary Examination is the initial and crucial stage in the journey toward becoming a civil servant. The Prelims consist of two papers: General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 (CSAT). Once the UPSC civil service examination 2024 result is out, successful candidates will have to register themselves for the UPSC Mains 2024 exams, which are scheduled to be held on September 20, 2024.

UPSC prelims 2024 was conducted in offline mode using pen and paper format. The exam consisted of two papers: General Studies Paper 1 and CSAT-General Studies Paper 2. The marks scored in Paper 1 are used to determine a candidate’s eligibility for the next stage of the examination, depending on the cutoff. CSAT is qualifying in nature, as candidates have to score 33% (66.67) marks to qualify.

Candidates who have cleared prelims must begin their mains preparation immediately after the declaration of results. If you have already prepared for mains previously, you need to start revising your GS static notes as well as optional notes.
All successful candidates will have to apply again for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 by filling out the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I). The UPSC will announce the important instructions for filling out the DAF-I and its submission in due course on its official website.
Candidates must not restrict their UPSC Mains preparation to just revision. They must practice answer writing daily to prepare for the rigors of writing mains papers.
