Ms. Sujata Mehta	She has acquired MPhil in Political Science. She worked in Indian Foreign Service earlier and has served in Indian Missions in Dhaka, Moscow, & UN in New York. She is the Ambassador for the Conference on Disarmament, Geneva.
Ms. Smita Nagaraj	She is an IAS 1984 batch, Tamil Nadu Cadre. She finished her Masters in Political Science at JNU, PG diploma in Mass Communication. She is an Executive Director of the Central Social Welfare Board and has served the Ministry of Defence and DOPT.
Sri Rajiv Nayan Choubey	He is an IAS 1981 batch, TN cadre. He holds a PG in Physics from St. Stephens College, Delhi and is specialised in Social Policy & Planning from the London School of Economics. He has served in various departments like the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of P&NG. Ministry of Power, Civil Aviation.
Dr. T C A Anant	He is the former Chief Statistician of India and the secretary of MOSPI. He has completed his Masters from Delhi School of Economics, and Ph.D. from Cornell. He has served as a professor at DSE, Secretary in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation. He was the member secretary of the ICSSR and has made publications in Industry, Labour, and Economic Theory.
Sri Bharat Bhushan Vyas,	He is an IAS 1986, J&K. He has done BSc Botany. He has served as Chief Secretary and Advisor to the Governor in J&K, the District Magistrate of three districts and Divisional Commissioner of the Kashmir Valley.
Ms. M Sathiyavathy	She is a Gold medallist in Mathematics from IIT, Madras. Belonging to the IAS 1982 batch, AGMUT cadre and IRS 1981, she worked at Arunachal Pradesh, Puducherry, Mizoram. She served at Ministries of Textiles, Commerce, Labour, Civil Aviation, and Dept. of Space.

According to the UPSC CSE Exam Pattern, the exam is conducted in three stages. UPSC Prelims: General Studies Paper and CSAT [Both 200 marks] UPSC Mains: Nine Papers [1750 Marks] UPSC Interview [275 Marks]

UPSC CSE Interview: Key Parameters and Attributes for Success

The final and most important step in the cycle of the exam is the UPSC CSE Interview/ Personality Test.
The interview is of 275 marks, for a maximum possible score of 2025.
The following are some of the attributes the panel looks for in a candidate while allocating marks to him/her during the personality test:

- critical powers of assimilation.
- clear and logical exposition.
- a balance of judgement.
- variety and depth of interest.
- the ability for social cohesion and leadership.

UPSC CSE Interview: Panel Arrangement and Time Duration

Assembling in Hall: The candidates reach a large hall where they are divided according to their panel numbers.
Panel-wise Segregation: All the students of the same panel wait here together.
Time: The panel takes 5-6 candidates at a time and each interview lasts for around 20-30 minutes. There is no time limit but they usually wrap under 20 – 30 minutes.
