The Ministry of Culture, Government of India and the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) are organising the inaugural Asian Buddhist Summit (ABS).
- The summit is set to be held on November 5-6, 2024, in New Delhi.

- Aim: To unite Sangha leaders, scholars, experts, and Buddhist practitioners from diverse traditions across Asia.

- Act East Policy: The Summit reflects India’s Act East Policy, aimed at inclusive development and cooperation in Asia, with Dhamma as a guiding principle.
