About Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM)

• Type: It  is a third-generation, “fire-and-forget” missile system.
• Purpose: esigned to destroy modern main battle tanks in diverse battlefield conditions.
• Capability: nhances infantry’s anti-armour capability through precision, mobility, and advanced seeker technology.
• Developed By: Indigenously designed and developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
• Key Features
• Operational Capability: Day & night operations with advanced sighting and fire control system.
• Range: Up to 2.5 km.
• Launch Flexibility: Can be fired from tripod or vehicle-mounted launcher
