List of Cabinet Ministers 2024 for IAS Exam

List of Cabinet Ministers 2024 is out now! In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured 240 seats, making it the single largest party. On June 9, 2024, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and 72 other ministers took the oath of office for a third term in a huge ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The Election Commission of India declared the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha election on June 4, 2024. The Bharatiya Janata Party secured 240 seats and won the election along with its supporting parties. List of Cabinet Ministers 2024

On June 5, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) overwhelmingly approved a resolution designating Narendra Modi as its leader and Prime Minister of India. Following the announcement, the List of Cabinet Ministers 2024 was released on June 9. There are 72 ministers in the Modi Cabinet 3.0, comprising 30 cabinet ministers, 5 ministers of state with independent charge, and 36 ministers of state altogether. In the Modi 3.0 Cabinet, 11 NDA leaders have secured a spot on the List of Cabinet Ministers 2024.

On June 9, 2024, President Droupadi Murmu swore in Narendra Modi to a record third term as India’s prime minister. For the first time since 2014 and following ten years of United Progressive Alliance (UPA) dominance, Prime Minister Modi will lead a coalition government during his third term or Modi 3.0. Now that Modi has reached this landmark of 3rd term administration, he joins Jawaharlal Nehru, the winner of the 1952, 1957, and 1962 elections.

New Modi Cabinet Ministers List India:

There is a wide mix of representation from different Indian states in the Modi cabinet minister 2024 list. Given the BJP’s reliance on allies for a majority in the Lok Sabha, the NDA partners of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have five cabinet ministerial positions in his third term in office, compared to none in the previous administration.
