UPSC NDA & NA 1 Final Result 2024 Declared 

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the final result of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I) 2024 on 24th October 2024. A total of 641 candidates have qualified based on the written exam held on 21st April 2024, followed by interviews conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). These candidates are selected for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 153rd Course, and the Naval Academy for the 115th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). Candidates can check the merit list on the UPSC website and download the name-wise PDF. Marks will be available 15 days after the result announcement.

NDA Result 2024 Overview

The NDA 2 Result 2024 for the written exam has been announced on the official website. The commission has directed selected candidates to register at the Indian Army’s website for the SSB interview process, however, those candidates who registered in the previous session need not register again. Process After NDA 2 Result 2024

Candidates who have been selected in the result PDF will be qualified for the SSB interview phase. They will be required to submit their original certificates to the relevant service headquarters following the publication of the written results. The designated submission locations are as follows:

  • For candidates who have chosen the Army as their primary preference: Army Headquarters, AG’s Branch, RTG (NDA Entry), New Delhi.
  • For candidates who have selected the Navy/Naval Academy as their first choice: Naval Headquarters, Directorate of Manpower & Recruitment, New Delhi.
  • For candidates who have indicated the Air Force as their top preference: Directorate of Personnel (Officers), Air Headquarters, New Delhi.

SSB interview to NDA Final Result

After the written exam of the UPSC NDA (National Defence Academy) exam, candidates who qualify move on to the next stage of the selection process, which typically involves a series of interviews and physical fitness tests. Here’s a general outline of the process after the written exam:

  1. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which is conducted in two stages:
    • Stage I: This stage includes Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT).
    • Stage II: Candidates who qualify in Stage I undergo Psychological Tests, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Interview, and Conference.
  2. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the SSB interview are subjected to a thorough medical examination to ensure they meet the required medical standards for entry into the armed forces.
  3. Final Merit List: Based on the performance in the written exam, SSB interview, and medical examination, a final merit list is prepared.
  4. Allotment of Services: Candidates who make it to the final merit list are then allotted their respective services (Army, Navy, Air Force) based on their preferences and the vacancies available.
  5. Training: Selected candidates undergo training at the National Defence Academy (NDA) for Army, Navy, and Air Force cadets, depending on their chosen service. The training duration varies for each service.
  6. Commissioning: Upon successful completion of training, candidates are commissioned as officers in their respective services.
