How to Apply PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana?

Applying for the PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana  is different from regular schemes because it is district-focused rather than individual-focused. Here is how farmers can benefit from it:

1. First confirm whether your district is among the 100 selected underperforming districts under PMDDKY. You can do this by visiting your District Agriculture Office or local government websites. 
2. Once your district is selected, the District Dhan Dhaanya Samiti will release information about local interventions, programs and benefits available under the scheme.
3. PMDDKY works by converging multiple schemes. Farmers can apply for individual components like subsidies, credit schemes, irrigation support or infrastructure benefits through the respective local departments.  Members of Farmers Producer Organisations can access support and resources through their organisations which are actively involved in implementing the scheme.
4. Provide necessary documents like land records, identity proof, bank details, and other documents required for the specific component of the scheme you are applying for.

Features of PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana

• The scheme will be implemented in 100 districts selected from across India.
• These districts will be selected based on three key criteria, including low crop productivity, low cropping intensity, and ineffective credit facilities available to farmers.
• Each state will have at least one district included under the scheme.
• A District Dhan Dhaanya Samiti, which includes experienced farmers will be led by the District Collector. This samiti will plan and implement the scheme locally.
• Committees at the district, state, and national levels will ensure proper monitoring and coordination.
• Progress will be tracked using 117 key performance indicators through an online dashboard.
• The scheme follows a convergence model, bringing together resources from 36 existing schemes across 11 ministries, such as agriculture, rural development, animal husbandry, finance, irrigation, and more.
