UPSC CSAT Reasoning Exam

The Union Public Service Commission, or UPSC, administers the Civil Services Examination each year. It is among India’s most difficult tests. The exam is divided into Three Stages: the preliminary exam, the main examination, and the interview/personality test. UPSC GS Paper 1 and GS Paper 2 are part of the preliminary test. The GS Paper 2 is also referred to as the CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test).

A key component of the UPSC preliminary exam is the CSAT, which was introduced in 2011. Clearing this exam is a requirement for Mains eligibility. An important factor in establishing a candidate’s fitness for the civil service is the UPSC CSAT.
