In the structured framework of the UPSC Civil Services Examination, candidates are required to choose optional subjects for the main stage, and Punjabi Literature emerges as a distinguished choice among literature options. Candidates are required to attempt five questions in total. Question 1 and Question 5 are compulsory. From the remaining six questions, candidates must choose any three to attempt, ensuring at least one question is answered from each section. It’s imperative that answers must be written in Punjabi in Gurumukhi script.
