G20 India Mobile App: In anticipation of the upcoming G20 Summit in Delhi, the Indian government has unveiled the G20 India mobile app—an innovative digital tool designed to streamline interactions and provide valuable information to all visitors, including ministers. Developed by the Ministry of External Affairs, this app aims to enrich the Summit experience for participants and attendees. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently urged ministers to download the app, underscoring its role in facilitating communication with foreign delegates.

The G20 India Mobile app includes navigation assistance for Bharat Mandapam Convention Center at Pragati Maidan’s multiple venues, along with a dedicated section for press releases, documents, speeches, and more. Notably, it offers a Yoga Break feature for relaxation and a Digital India Experience Zone guide for exploring attractions.

  2. Virtual Venue Tour: Delegates, officials, and media personnel benefit from a virtual tour of the Summit venue, the Bharat Mandapam Convention Center at Pragati Maidan, helping them familiarize themselves with the facilities and layout.

  5. Yoga Break Feature: Integrating wellness into the Summit experience, the app includes a Yoga Break feature, encouraging users to engage in yoga practices whenever they seek relaxation and rejuvenation.

  8. Additional Categories: The G20 India app offers a range of other useful categories, including Language Translation, Citizen’s Corner, Crafts Bazaar, Explore India, and a Calendar feature, catering to diverse interests and needs.

Security Measures: As part of the Summit’s robust security and communication measures, Delhi Police and Indian Army officials utilize the secure Sandes app, developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). This confidential app empowers inspectors and commissioners to securely share vital documents and texts, adhering to stringent security protocols.
