Since the SEBI Grade A 2026 notification has not been released yet, the syllabus and exam pattern discussed below are based on the latest SEBI Grade A 2025 official notification. Any changes introduced in the 2026 notification will be updated once officially announced.

Paper 1 of Phase II (For All Streams) – English Writing Skills: This paper tests writing skills, including expression and understanding of the topic, precise writing, essay writing, and comprehension.
Candidates must secure separate cut-offs in each paper as well as an aggregate cut-off of 50% in Phase II to be shortlisted for Phase III (Interview). Candidates equal to 3 times the vacancies will be shortlisted for an interview based on merit.
