The UPSC CSE (Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination) final result is evaluated based on a candidate’s performance in three stages:
The UPSC CSE exam Result depends on how well candidates perform in the mains and interview stages. While the Prelims serve as a qualifying round, their scores don’t factor into the final merit list. Among the UPSC CSE Main written exam papers, only seven are considered for scoring, which are then combined with the marks from the interview stage. Candidates’ final rankings are determined based on their total marks out of 2,025.
The UPSC CSE Main Exam marks the Second Stage in the selection procedure for esteemed positions such as IAS, IFS, and various Group A and B services. It covers nine written examinations, comprising obligatory and elective subjects.
