UPSC Prelims Cutoff 2024 has officially been released by the Union Public Service Commission. The cutoff marks are based on General Studies Paper-I, as Paper-II is only qualifying (requiring 33%). According to the data, the General category cutoff stands at 87.98, while EWS and OBC are close behind at 85.92 and 87.28, respectively. The SC and ST categories have slightly lower cutoffs at 79.03 and 74.23. For candidates under PwBD categories, the cutoffs are significantly lower, with PwBD-3 and PwBD-5 both at 40.56. This shows a competitive trend in the General and OBC categories, with only slight variation, and indicates that the Prelims paper was moderately difficult this year, especially for general category aspirants aiming to clear the cutoff.
