What is Memflation?

AI Crowding Effect: Large-scale AI infrastructure demand redirects limited memory supply away from other sectors.
Price Surge: Leads to sharp rise in DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) and NAND (Not AND) memory prices across the market
Distorted Growth: Semiconductor revenue growth is driven by price inflation, not uniform expansion across all industries.
Impact: Consumer electronics, automobiles, and industrial sectors face shortages, delays, and higher costs for semiconductors.

Context: Recently, a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon came into effect.

This is the first time since 1993 that Lebanon and Israel are talking directly. The many other ceasefires between them have been mediated by third parties, like the UN, US, or France.
