UPSC IFS Interview: The UPSC Indian Forest Service (IFS) Interview is the final and most critical stage of the IFS selection process. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the Personality Test (Interview) schedule for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2024. Candidates who have successfully cleared the IFS Mains Exam 2024 will now proceed to the final stage of selection—the Personality Test. The interviews are scheduled to begin on 21 April 2025 and will continue until 2 May 2025.
It is conducted to assess a candidate’s suitability for the service in terms of personality, aptitude, knowledge, and administrative potential. Candidates who have successfully cleared the Mains exam will now appear for the UPSC IFS Interview, which is the final stage.
A total of 370 candidates have been shortlisted for the Personality Test. The interviews will be conducted in two sessions daily:
Forenoon Session: Reporting Time – 09:00 AM
Afternoon Session: Reporting Time – 01:00 PM
Candidates are advised to check their allotted date and session carefully to ensure timely attendance.
The IFS Interview, often referred to as the Personality Test, is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). It carries 300 marks and aims to evaluate the candidate’s intellectual capabilities, decision-making skills, ethical considerations, and suitability for a career in forest management and conservation.
