The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recommended 114 applicants from the Consolidated Reserve List of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 to fill the remaining positions in various Central Services. The official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in, has the list of approved applicants.

The list of applicants comprises 94 General candidates, five EWS candidates, 13 OBC candidates, and one candidate from each SC and ST category. These applicants will be assigned to the Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and different Central Services, Group “A” and Group “B.” Those selected will receive appointment details directly from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

Candidates who clear UPSC Mains exam will have to fill DAF-II form, indicating their service and cadre preferences. After filling out this form, they will receive an e-call letter for the Personality Test. The details are provided below.

• Qualifying candidates need to fill out and submit the online Detailed Application Form (DAF-II) within the specified period.
• They must provide their preferences for services, zones, and cadres in DAF-II form.
• Original certificates have to be provided by the candidates, supporting their candidature, such as age, education, caste, etc., during the UPSC Personality Test.
• The dates and details of the interview will be notified by UPSC through e-summon letters.
