Chandrayaan-3: India became the first country to soft-land near the lunar south pole and the fourth country to soft-land on the Moon.
India’s space strategy is shifting from an ISRO-centric model to an ecosystem-driven model, where ISRO leads frontier capabilities while industry scales mature technologies and commercial applications. This can expand India’s space economy without diluting ISRO’s strategic role.
