Aspirants for the UPSC Preliminary Exam can gauge their potential scores by utilising the UPSC Answer Key 2023, which aligns with the marking criteria established by the Union Public Service Commission. In the UPSC CSE assessment, Paper-1 awards 2 marks for each correct response, while Paper-2 grants 2.5 marks. Conversely, incorrect answers incur a penalty of 0.33 marks or one-third of a mark deduction.
